The Making of NRG Apple Cider Vinegar – Pure, Powerful, and Proudly Australian

At NRG, we’re passionate about keeping things simple and natural — and our Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is no exception.

Unlike many commercial vinegars on the market, NRG Apple Cider Vinegar is unpasteurised and unfiltered, allowing it to retain the natural characteristics of traditionally made apple cider vinegar.

Most importantly, it contains the “Mother” — the natural culture formed during the fermentation process.

With a naturally produced acidity level of 4.5–5%, our ACV delivers quality and consistency without synthetic additives or unnecessary processing. It is naturally fermented, unpasteurised, and made the traditional way — pure, simple, and reliable.

No Chemicals. No Compromises.

Our commitment to quality means we do not use chemical additives or unnecessary shortcuts in the production of our ACV. Every step of the process is carefully managed to maintain the quality and consistency of the final product.

How It’s Made

Crushing the Apples

It all starts with 100% Australian whole apples, selected and removed from cold storage at peak quality. The apples are crushed into a fine pulp, ready for pressing.

Cold Pressing

The pulp is immediately transferred to a press where the juice is gently extracted using a cold-pressed process, with no added heat or unnecessary processing.

Natural Fermentation

The raw apple juice is then moved into fermentation tanks, where naturally occurring wild yeasts begin converting the sugars into alcohol through a slow and controlled process. Any natural sediment settles over time without filtration.

Vinegarisation

The fermented cider is then transferred to an acetator, where it meets the Mother of Vinegar — the natural culture responsible for converting alcohol into acetic acid. This gives the vinegar its traditional character and acidity. The acetator carefully controls oxygen flow and temperature to support this natural process at scale while maintaining product quality.

Bottled With Care

Once the vinegar is ready, it is packaged into 1L, 5L, or 20L containers and shipped across Australia to customers who value premium quality, naturally fermented apple cider vinegar.

Why Choose NRG ACV?
