My Thoroughbred gelding Zeus recently developed quite a severe case of mud fever in a very short period of time. Having four white socks made it more difficult to detect at first and before we knew it, his legs became quite swollen.
Following my vets advise to keep legs dry and clean and killing the bacteria and fungis, bandaging the legs for 2 weeks was recommended. Unfortunately, this winter has been exceptionally wet resulting in very muddy paddocks, and with stabling not an option for us, this made it very difficult to keep bandages in place.

I absolutely love NRG Pro-tect cream, not only is it good on my Clydesdales but I use more of this product on my dogs ears. My dogs get bitten a lot by flies on the dairy farm and the cream heals and prevents the flies coming back. Its safe for them and works a treat 🙂
