What’s been happening at Lifestyle Performance Horses now that restrictions are easing?

“Well, it is now full steam ahead here, being right in the middle of our majors for the year. Having just completed the Summer Sizzler at Tatura VIC, we were proud of our team getting some good results.

We then went on to back this up with a midweek three-day show, at a club that has supported me over the years hosting my clinics. To my surprise, we ended up with a beautiful buckle, won by Scruff aka Third Time Lazy, who had colic surgery last year while I was away at a horse show in Sydney.

Next up will be a local show here at Benalla VIC, then the following weekend we haul out to Tamworth NSW for the Nationals.”

How did the lockdown affect your business?

“We have now finished calving, and Sam will be starting to disc paddocks, getting ready for April-May planting of the oat crop.  In a nutshell, life on a farm is always busy, and I’m ashamed to say, COVID-19 didn’t really affect us up here, as I work from home. So, the horses stayed in training to get more educated for the following season. However, the one big thing I missed over this time was seeing the grandkids, but I am making up for this now!”

What NRG products do you rely on in Autumn?

“I love the NRG Apple Cider Vinegar with Garlic at this time of year as it seems to help with the biting flies and mossies.

Pink Noze for my Paint horse is a must, and it goes without saying that I always have Proplaits and No-Nots in the tack box for shows.”

The NRG Team would like to wish Liz and her team a fun and safe journey at the Tamworth Nationals.
